| resumeang: Mental health professionals must critically examine appropriate ways to serve the increasingly significant and sizable Latino population in the US. To this end, this article reviews the available literature on Latino practice outcome studies to advance the level of discourse about what constitutes meaningful and effective psychotherapeutic treatment with Latinos, and to make available a more systematic knowledge base for practitioners to draw from. Limitations of the available research are examined, as well as behavioral, psychodynamic, individually centered, culturally sensitive, and family interventions.
